Looking back over the last several decades, consumers have greeted and
cherished a variety of iconic vehicles. In the second half of the 20th
century, roads became littered with Ford Thunderbirds, Chevrolet
Impalas, and the Oldsmobile Cutlass. Each model offered what the general
population wanted: a powerful engine and, for that time, a comfortable
ride. They also shared another common feature: harmful emissions and
poor gas mileage. Back then, we didn't know the effect of emissions, and
gas-guzzling vehicles weren't an issue with the next-to nothing price
of fuel. However, times have changed; they always do.
On Sunday, February 12th, Patriot Buick GMC and the Worcester Sharks are joining together to go "Pink in the Rink"! For the first time in Worcester history, the ice rink of the DCU Center will be dyed pink, with Shark's players wearing pink jerseys, in order to raise money for breast cancer awareness. 
Amidst the chaos of running three separate
dealerships, Carla and Tommy Cosenzi have now rallied three years in a
row to put together an all-day golfing event in memory of their father,
Tom Cosenzi. Tom, an avid golfer, died in 2009 after bravely fighting to
overcome a brain tumor. Since then, Carla and Tommy have passionately
done all that they can to support cancer research. "Tom Cosenzi Driving
for the Cure" is a now-annual golfing tournament where all proceeds go
to the Jimmy Fund and to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, specifically
for the cancer research of Tom's treating…
